With a molecular weight of 4-9.6 million, it offers higher abrasion and abrasion resistance, along with excellent impact strength, even at temperatures below -200°C.
UHMWPE has excellent chemical resistance, low moisture absorption, low coefficient of friction and excellent anti-stick properties. It is frequently used in high-wear applications, from wear strips under conveyor belts to guide rails in bottling plants or scrapers on road rollers.
